“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success”
-Alexander Graham Bell

OVERVIEW
This week had many crunch deadlines for everyone on team, as we had our quarter presentation lined up on Friday. We were able to make a playable version of our product for tablet experience with basic interactions and placeholder art styles incorporated. The team presented well in the quarters and received a lot of positive feedback.

PROGRESS
The team visited the local aquarium in Pittsburgh to research more about the aqua visitaquatic biome and to get a feel of how underwater environment looks like. Our visit was very helpful to understand the aesthetics and to design a similar virtual biome. As research always goes in parallel to development, the team got an opportunity to chat with a marine biologist expert. Many doubts were solved and better ideas were generated following the conversation. We also saw a couple of recommended documentaries based on the underwater world. All this research was useful for newsletterthe artists to immerse themselves into the aquatic world and produce references for our project. The designers restructured the past design ideas to present it during quarters to get feedback. The programmers developed the tablet prototype incorporating basic interactions and also visually enhancing the virtual water. On Friday our presentation was well received by the faculty and we got a lot of good feedback.

PROSPECT
The team will be meeting on Monday to discuss the next step. Most of the feedback was in support of the tablet prototype hence further polishing it with fresh experience design and new art assets is on the line.1655146_10202455984614366_416345410_o
