Much of the work of this semester has been thinking up ideas for ways of exploring audience agency in live performance with technology.
In the first half of the semester, we build two rapid prototypes to test out ideas for a short experience.
In the second half of the semester, we adjusted for the COVID-19 social distancing orders and created a design concept instead of prototypes. The ideas within the design concept works for an experience of a much larger scope, since we are no longer constrained to create something we can physically build. This has helped us focus only on exploring guest agency and collaborating more closely with our project partners.
Over the course of the semester we thought of many other ideas for agency moments and technology that were not fully fleshed out that nevertheless inspired us.
