Sean Kelly |
Sean Kelly is a graduate in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, currently in his 4th and final semester as an ETC student. He sells himself as a programming specialist with a passion for video games and game design, but has also been paid for jobs ranging from shared processing architecture analysis to dental implant CAD modelling. A creator-side hobbyist interest in music, webcomics, and cooking is currently being supplemented by a formal course in artistic 3D modelling and a crash course in Flash design to round out his skill set for this project. Like so many game programmers before him, Sean is hoping to use the ETC as a springboard into the industry. If he seems a little strange, it's not just because he spent all of last semester (and then some) in Japan, but that may be a contributing factor.

Brad Michael |
I came to the ETC in August of 2007 with a background in US History, Studio Art, and independent film making. Since that time, my skill set has exploded to include such things as game design, project management, texture art, web design and level design. I love the atmosphere that the ETC provides; encouraging teamwork, creativity and innovation from students with a wide range of personal, professional and educational backgrounds. The WMS project seemed particularly interesting me because I wanted to explore aspects of game design that fall outside of the typical video game industry. So far I've found slot machine design to be an intriguing and rewarding challenge. I will be graduating in May and will definitely be looking for a job. Brad's Portfolio |

Jae Hyuk Choi |
Jae had lived a monotonous life without any special problem in his school years, which was very lucky but not a passionate life. Then one day, he watched “Laputa: Castle in the sky,” a Japanese animation produced by a great animator Miyajaki Hayao, and had a momentous change in his life. Not until that moment did he have any idea about what animation was, or any interest in it. Jae became fascinated by the new world of animation, games and motion pictures, and decided to be an animator in the future. Even though he had to choose engineering as a major in order to meet his parents’ expectations, he made up his mind to learn the basic skills of making cartoons and animation, and request for a leave of absence from college for a year. He worked for a variety of companies, but wanted to have more experience. Finally, he decided to study further abroad, so that he could get more challenging and different experiences.

Zachary Pacheco |
Zachary Pacheco is a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art & Design. At AIP, Zachary learned how to work individually and in groups to design structured content used in the video game industry. At the ETC, Zachary perceives that learning with an even broader background of graduate students he can have a better understanding about the different audiences that the video game industry can cater to. Zachary is very enthusiastic about working hands on with people that have different media backgrounds in order to push his own boundaries as well as current projects forward. From here Zachary will work on gaining an extensive portfolio that he will use to accumulate a job as a 3D Artist/Game Designer in the video game industry.
