Pan Leung

2D Artist, Narrative Designer

Pan Leung is a narrative designer trained in scenic and costume design and scenic painting. She received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Art degrees from Northwest Missouri State University, earning a commendation award from the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. with her design for Rumors by Neil Simon. She has built her theatrical career with companies including American Repertory Theatre, Brandeis University, Glimmerglass Opera, the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, CLIMB Children’s Theatre in Minneapolis, and The Santa Fe Opera. Her experiences also include film, theme park, and advertising projects. She served as an intern under Emmy Award winning production designer, Tom Walsh, on the ABC television show Desperate Housewives and worked as a scenic artist with Lexington Scenic in Los Angeles. Pan is also an active member of United States Institute of Theatre Technology, elected as a member of the Board of Directors in 2008 and is listed as a founding member of the organization 5D Immersive Design Conference. Currently she is working at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon under Executive Producer Don Marinelli.  panleung.com
