Interaction Designer, Web & Sound Designer
Hailing from Kansas City, Missouri, Tim began his studies in theatre performance at age 7 with the Academy of Performing Arts, acting in plays and musicals around the Kansas City area. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Theatre Technology & Design from Northwest Missouri State University, emphasizing in scenic design and technical direction.
After graduation, Tim spent four seasons with the Kansas City Repertory Theatre and Santa Fe Opera and had the privilege of working on the American Premieres of operas The Tempest, Tea: A Mirror of Soul, and Adrianna Mater, as well as the World Premieres of The Letter, A Christmas Story the Musical, and Train to 2010. He has also freelanced as an Art Department Assistant and Prop Artisan for the film industry.
Tim is currently in his second semester at the ETC and plans to pursue a career in developing applications for iOS and Android, effectively changing the way mobile content is used in the classroom and beyond.
