Week 12 (Nov.14 ~ Nov.20): Srart Polishing

As time goes by, we finally reached the point of polishing our project. This week, we talked to our faculties and decided to add some juiciness to the experience–mainly, how to have better connection between the estimating part and the final AR fighting part. The decision was to have a character that “guides” user  throughout the experience–by “guide”, we mean let it be the villain. During the estimating part, it will challenge and taunt the users: when the users get things right, it will be frustrated, and when users make wrong guesses, it will be happy. Finally, right before the AR fighting part, he will “absorb” the points users achieved previously, grow bigger and jump on the football field, and the AR fight will begin(of course, it is not actually absorbing points, it’s just an animation that make the story more dramatic). With this design, the users will have chance to know what they are going to fight from the beginning, so that they will not feel abrupt when the final battle begins.

Of course, with this character introduced, some UI and flows of the experience will be updated. The team is working on putting everything together, please stay tuned!
