This week we set up our room and schedules for the semester, including core hours. We also began communicating with our client, and established a routine for meeting with both them and our advisors.

We have laid out our roles and are eager to begin designing the app so that we can get to playtests as soon as possible! We are awaiting a little more information about the content of the app, but for now we can start testing art styles and research other methods of administering a questionnaire without it feeling like a questionnaire (such as the previous ETC project Vroom 360).

We have also of course done research about the previous AHN-ETC projects Seaweed Salad, Transcendence, Heart Rate Café, and Stratos, and about trauma in children and adolescents. We’re definitely going to have to do some innovation to make the current screening tools more engaging, but we think we’re up to the challenge.
