Newsletter 8: March 6th

 

Overview:

With this week being Game Developers Conference week we knew that we would not be getting much done in terms of product feature completion but we pushed to polish some of the current game play that we have.

 

Programming:

Our programmers have utilized their limited time to polish up some of the implemented features such as the AI on the ants in the Acacia tree game and fixed some bugs.

 

Artists:

We have been finishing up assets for the games that have been implemented so that they may look good.

 

Design:

Cleaning up of some of the rougher edges has been done on the design ideas and hopefully we will have more news on this front soon.

 

Production:

We have been in contact with the legal team to see to put together a quick playtest of the UI and current gameplay nce integrated. We are also looking into hosting a simple playtest for ETC students in the coming days. Lastly Jerry had the idea of contacting people at NatGeo for content support on the project.

 

Moving Forward:

Next week is spring break so again production will be slow and with our halfs presentation coming up some focus will be shifted into being prepared for that.
