Week 4 Newsletter

This week, we focused on building prototypes for the project. We have three prototypes ready right now and before the quarter we will merge them together to create a playable experience.

The first demo is a clue system for our players to find the sound clues in the room.  First, the player will hear some spatial sound in the room. Then by finding and getting close to the sound source, the player will be able to hear the clue clearly and find the next clue.

The second prototype is a microphone monitor. When players scream too loud, monsters will find them.

The third prototype is an eye detector. When the player is not looking at the monster, the monster will change position or change its appearance. This prototype is about the restrictions of the game, it can be used on monsters to chase the player.
