2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Thank you for submitting your enrollment deposit to Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC). We are excited to have you to join us! Your enrollment fee will be processed as quickly as possible, but it may take a few days. Once your enrollment deposit has been processed we will update your record in the online application system, indicating the deposit has been paid. Your deposit is non-refundable and will be credited toward your Fall 2024 tuition.
We will be sending further enrollment details including information regarding student ID’s, I-20’s, etc. once enrollment is confirmed.
In the meantime, if you would like to start looking for housing in Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University’s Graduate Student Association (GSA) has created a guide for graduate students to assist in finding housing in the greater Pittsburgh region. Please note, the GSA guide is for the general CMU campus, and the ETC is located about 2 miles off campus. Most ETC students do live close to CMU, so this information will be helpful. https://offcampus.housing.cmu.edu/
If several business days have passed since your payment has been made, and you have not heard from us, please email etc-payments@lists.andrew.cmu.edu and include your name and the payment receipt number so we can check on the status.
We look forward to seeing you in August!
Best,
Rebecca Lombardi
Director of Admission and Marketing
