Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Christine was introduced to the entertainment world through her family's business. The daughter of a professional magician, she assisted her father in his magic shows and clowned around with her family since she was five years old. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Penn State University in 1996, Christine continued pursuing her love of entertainment as a Properties Master. She has since worked for several companies including The Florida Grand Opera, Wayside Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, and ReVision Theatre. One of Christine's proudest accomplishments to date, is her work as the Properties Supervisor for the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. For ten years, she had the pleasure of teaching and working side by side with undergraduate and graduate students, helping them learn how to be Property Masters, while always encouraging them to live their dreams. During her time at Rutgers, Christine also had the fortune of working on Broadway with Hal Holbrook's Mark Twain Tonight! and Off Broadway with RFK and Dr Sex: The Musical.
Christine is now embracing the next phase of her career and studying at the Entertainment Technology Center. She looks forward to taking the technology she learns and implementing it into communities to help create new and innovative ways to entertain, teach, communicate and enhance the experiences of those around her. In the right place at the right time, you can find Christine still clowning around.
