Chris was born and raised in the great state of Michigan, where he started playing Nintendo before learning to read. Fast forward a couple of decades, and Chris was answering the digital call by studying software engineering at the University of Michigan. Now at the ETC, Chris tries to bring a design and prototyping focus to his programming tasks and technical eye to his game design tasks.
Chris continues to be fascinated by digital games unique combination of machines and human imagination. In his spare time he still plays lots of games and reads about game design theory. Chris is particularly interested in the use of interactivity to reinforce immersion in narrative contexts.
