Believing in the importance of personality in character design keeps John focused towards creating characters that audiences can connect with. A background of character modeling and animation, traditional life drawing, and composition and color design is complimented with client-based advertising and marketing experience.
John has worked at Schell Games as a Character TD and Animator for 2 years and was recently the animation lead for a large, interactive Theme Park Attraction. As a Design and Animation Consultant for four years prior, past clients include ETCetera Edutainment: Educational Animation; Best Promotions: Promotional Animation; Feet First: Medical Product Design and Marketing; McKenzie Illustrations: Medical Imaging and Animation; and ITT Technical Institute: Educational Physics Simulation.
Also, as a 3D Modeling and Animation instructor, John taught all 3D course levels in ITT Technical Institute's Multimedia Program for over three years. He also taught two summers of a 3D Modeling course in Carnegie Mellon University's Summer Academy for Math and Sciences, a program focusing on rapid skill advancement.
