2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Originally from Louisville, KY, Lisa spent her younger years as a volunteer at the Louisville Science Center, which is where she cultivated her enthusiasm for engaging, interactive, and educational museum exhibits. She often used her skills and interests in other areas, such as art, storytelling, and her love of games, to enhance the exhibits for the guests.
Lisa used her undergraduate experience to explore and expand her skills in several different areas. She divided her time between blowing glass, computer programming, building props for the theater, drawing comics, and playing and creating games.
After graduating in 2004, she spent time as a props intern at Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut and as a web applications programmer in Louisville, KY. She also produces and animates for a small group animation project.
Lisa's goal is to use her design skills to create games for themed educational experiences. She would like to develop exciting, interactive museum exhibits much like the ones that inspired her as a child.
