2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Whitney grew up in small town NJ playing all forms of games (but mostly computer and video games), setting things on fire with giant magnifying glasses, climbing trees and doing the many other things that kids do. At an early age he developed an interest in programming and taught himself QBASIC and later C/C++. This interest was born out of a desire to bring his visions to life as computer games. For undergrad, Whitney attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. After graduating he worked for a few years as a software tester in NYC but when he learned of the ETC he decided that it was time to get serious about getting into the games industry and he is now a happy member of the ETC. Whitney hopes to use his time at CMU learning as much as he can about the various facets of the video gaming industry while working with other talented people to create top quality works of art.
