The Civic Engagement Summit will feature break-out sessions on topics such as philanthropy and community partnership building as well as a keynote address from Asi Burak (CMU 2006), the chief business officer of Tilting Point, a world-leading game publisher, and chairman of Games for Change, which focuses on how the world can use games and immersive media for social good. Asi’s keynote is entitled “The Past, Present and Future of Games for Impact.”
Asi was named as one of the 2022 Tartans On the Rise, recent alumni who are making an impact in their organizations and in their communities, across the nation and around the world through leadership, innovation and career achievements.
The Inaugural Civic Engagement Student Summit will take place on Sunday, November 6, 1-5 pm at Cohon University Center on Carnegie Mellon’s campus in Pittsburgh. The Summit is free and open to all students, undergraduate and graduate. Register now.
