2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Team InTouch will examine the highly social aspects of tabletop game interactions and mechanics. From there, we will determine how these tabletop game elements can be adapted effectively into VR by developing a 3 – 5 minute multiplayer tabletop game that brings innovative social interactivity to the VR realm.
InTouch hopes that by developing a relatable and familiar VR experience such as this, it can reach an entirely new demographic of board game lovers who are turned off by VR. Simultaneously, it can expose board game lovers to the enhanced immersion of VR, and the isolation of VR to the enhanced socialization of traditional board games.
Project Instructors: John Dessler, Chris Klug
