2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
TrailblazAR is a project developing mixed-reality prototypes to be used in conjunction with the ropes course at Dragon’s Den, a transformative place of learning and personal growth for youth of diverse backgrounds. Our team of six passionate creators at Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center aims to craft inspiring experiences for ages 10+ while creatively using Meta Quest 3 passthrough and depth-sensing technologies. We will design to promote Dragon’s Den’s core values of self-confidence and self-efficacy, and our experiences may assist the program’s education in academics, physical activity, and STEAM.
Project Instructors: Ricardo Washington, Mike Christel
Team Members: Zhaojia (Albert) Guo, Shuqin (Sophie) Huang, Marie Leung, Zixin (Jessy) Wang, Xiaoxuan (Claire) Zhong, Junqi (Richie) Zhu
