Our constraints: AR + Algorithm Hiring + Bias
Our goal: Awareness, get people curious about bias.
The user is a first-day employee. He/she is about to observe the algorithm making decisions of people’s careers. Therefore, he/she becomes one of the four girls and experiences the algorithm helping her matching a career. There’re many options at first, and the options disappear when the user’s information is being recorded and when she continues to answer some related questions. The user feels something wrong about it, and gets a sense of bias of the algorithm. After that, the user will see the matching result and reasons. Finally, the user will watch a video of the true stories of these biased girls and realizes that even algorithms can have bias.
