During the last week, we made a prototype that pulls all the data from the Mod the Sims website and stores it in the database with some simple visualization. Besides that, we are using Tableau as our testing tool. Tableau is a data-visualization service that can generate a variety of graphs based on the data. It helps us quickly come up with and show ideas to our client.
Our client is happy about the direction we are heading and will be providing an opportunity to meet a game designer and community manager of Sims 4 next week. Besides improving our prototype, we will generate more ideas and share it with them to find more useful connections.
We also have quarters this week. People from EA come to see our prototype, including data specialists, community developer and strategy. People are interested in how to connect our work to theirs and have given us a lot of good insights from their specialty.
