We worked very efficiently this week, both on finishing the features we needed to add based on last week’s playtest feedback, and on preparing for hand-off. We worked on a design document that recorded our whole process of designing the product. Apart from that, there are technical documentation and hands-on tutorial.
One great feature we added to our product in this last week is the hottest mod last 7 days. We scrapped the data from mod the sims every day and sum the downloads in the last 7 days and visualize the list to our client.
It provides very interesting information. Our client can use this feature to track whether a function in the game is broken so the mod that fix it suddenly has a lot of downloads after a pack release. This recommendation is very active: In the last two days, Sarcastic Trait beat the Become a Sorcerer and became the most popular mod in the last 7 days. We are very happy that we made a good decision of prioritizing this feature over others and it has reflected the activity of the modding community very well.
