After we brainstormed a bunch of minigame ideas. We collect suggestions from group members. And we all agree that passing cubes and piling cubes up is interesting. So the first mini-game idea is a construction game. There will be an NPC in the virtual world, and we want the NPC to be a little animal. The NPC will ask players to build a house for him/her. In this way, we can control the scale of the building they are going to build. We will provide players with several different shapes of materials. In this case, they can be creative and put them together. Some of the blocks can be pick up by one player, and other blocks can only be picked up by two players. We combined a creative process with cooperation within a game. The second mini-game is the combination of some interactions We had talked about before as a cooking game. Players can cut food, make skewer BBQ, and place all the materials on the grill. They can also eat what cooked.

Alter, we realize that we didn’t provide enough things for players to interact with each other in the lobby. So we decided to combine the cooking theme with the lobby. And here are two mini-games players can play and gather cooking materials!

Desktop mode

This week, we have our desktop mode working! It’s easier for us to participate in the playtest. For improvement. We will change the theme to make participators feel they are indoor. But in this demo right now, we can see what happened in the AR world and adjust camera angles.
