Pandamonium is working closely with the National High School Game Academy (NHSGA) and providing an open-source toolset that is used as an alternative to others currently available. Most nowadays, commercial toolsets are incredibly expensive and/or come as a packaged bonus with games. However, most of those games are M-rated. Asides from moral issues, what this open-source toolset, once widely used amongst Disney, does is provide the basic fundamental training of standard practice. Though not as powerful and intuitive as others, it starts the students off from square one, and then from there, students slowly mould themselves to that self-discovered level of comfort. Pandamonium strongly believes that to be great, one must go through from the beginning.
As for the toolset, Pandamonium is tasked of using an existing level editor and evolving it into a storytelling toolset. Implementing features such as a quest-based system and a conversation tree, this introduces a whole new level of creativity for story-based games, giving the students more directive controls to produce a rich and engaging experience.
