Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
A graduate of the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, Axel is proud to be bring his fine arts background to bear on the technological challenges found at the ETC.
Before the ETC, he worked with Chicago Public Library coordinating a grant between CPL, Iridescent, and Boeing to bring science education to branch libraries throughout the city of Chicago. Additionally, over the last ten years, Axel has been working as a writer. He has had pieces for both radio and stage performed in Chicago and New York, written copy for the top ranked library system in the nation, and has developed programming for informal science education.
While at the ETC, Axel has produced projects ranging from working on two-week rapid prototype cycles, to adapting live performance into a physical board game and companion app, and finally to working with the Google Experience Studio to produce an Assistant based app for their Experience Centers.
