Raised on the sunny streets of St. Augustine, FL, Chris ran away to Pittsburgh on the promise of rainy days and land-locked learning institutions. There, he found his calling in the printed word. Four years later, he graduated from CMU with his degree in Creative Writing, with experience at the Carnegie Mellon University Press. After graduation, he spent some time as a bike messenger, metal worker and as the lowest of the low: a temp worker. Inspired by Nintendo's philosophies on gaming, and fed up with filing papers, Chris took action and was accepted to the ETC for the fall 2006 semester, yearning to fuse his love of storytelling with the satisfaction of interaction.
When he can get away from his project work, Chris trains at the Pittsburgh Bujinkan Dojo, studying budo taijutsu and ninjutsu.
