David Faulkner
Dave specializes in educational game design. He has worked with middle school teachers and students on a number of educational game design projects. He spent a semester developing best practices for using Minecraft in the classroom and was filmed teaching statistics using Minecraft for a documentary on game based learning. He worked as an educational game designer developing games for the SMALLab learning system and helped create five SMALLab games in one semester. He also developed Rockominoes, an educational tabletop that teaches the rock cycle. Rockominoes is now part of the curriculum at the Elizabeth Forward Middle School in Pennsylvania and at the Quest to Learn school in New York. Dave is currently working with Filament Games as an educational game designer.
