Lauren Platt

Lauren Platt is an engineer and creative experience designer with a passion for location-based entertainment and theme parks.

Lauren earned her BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2022, double majoring in mechanical engineering and literature.

Lauren’s themed entertainment background includes design and engineering for escape room, puzzle, and interactive storytelling experiences. Lauren also earned a 2022 Themed Entertainment Association Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement in Attractions for her work as a three-time Experience Design Engineer Intern at Level99, a location-based challenge entertainment venue in Natick, Massachusetts.

In her free time, Lauren loves learning new skills including glassblowing, blacksmithing, fire spinning, ballroom dancing, and stand-up comedy.
