Matt grew up imagining that every structure on the playground was in fact a space craft. Later, video games became a vehicle for his imagination. He is fascinated by the art and design of games and interactive experiences and how those things impact people.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Michigan University. He worked nearly two years as a contracted computer-aided design data quality technician at Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Matt's desire to do something more creative and impactful with his work led him to Carnegie Mellon University. The ETC is allowing him to bridge the gap between his technical background and his creative aspirations in the pursuit of building novel and interesting interactive experiences.
