Patrick McKiernan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's Architecture Program (undergraduate). After graduating from CMU, Patrick co-founded and was President of 3Data, Inc. a 3D CG / web development company with 4 employees from 1996-1999. From 1999 -2002 he headed a local technology startup company's 3D CG and website design efforts.
For the past 9 years Patrick has been working as a consultant to international museums to create 3D CG archeological reconstructions. His work in this area has been featured at SIGGRAPH in the emerging technologies area in 2002 and 2008. Patrick has also taught computer modeling for the Carnegie Mellon Architecture department's pre-college summer program for 6 years.
In his spare time, he enjoys: Ultimate Frisbee, Biking, rollerblading and watching A LOT of movies.
