2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
ETC student pitch project Emotionshop has one of their blogs featured in Gamasutra. Below is an email from one of the team members:
‘Emotionshop is doing a blogpost series on Gamasutra about the lessons we learned designing games for seven different emotions. This is in line with our goal of providing game designers with additional tools when designing emotions in games, specifically in the field of mechanics. We are honored that the first post in our series, “Emotions and Mechanics #1: Lessons about Shame“, has been featured on the main page of Gamasutra, under the section “From the Community”. Following this, we will be looking to publish 7 more posts on other emotions as well as the iterations of our process. ‘
Congratulations to to the Emotionshop team Larry (Yu-Cheng) Chang, Joseph Chiang, Melody (Zhi Xin) Lee, Mac (Qiaochu) Li and Rahul Nagarkar. To read more about the other games the students have built over the semester, go to their project website.
