2024 Student Handbook

Humans, friends, family, all occupy a physical space. Why can’t an AI as well?
MixAR is exploring the use of agents to help AR users work or play in their world. We are building an experience where the user interacts directly with an AR agent in a physical space. We are interested in learning where an agent can be most useful and where it simply gets in the way. The experience will evoke real emotions in the user, pushing towards the next evolution in digital helpers in our lives. We are making an Agent in AR with the Hololens which reacts to the current situation, and has a far greater emotional presence than any current digital helper ever could.
