Pulp-Free Studio is a 3D animation production team creating an immersive short for a 270-degree panoramic screen. Using motion capture technology from the CMU lab, we bring to life a magical and heartfelt story of an old man’s memories through fluid choreography. This project leverages the Cavern’s expansive 270-degree screen paired with stereo glasses, to create an immersive environment where audiences can fully engage with the character’s world. Inspired by a given prompt, we are crafting a stylized, vibrant world of imagination. Blending music and choreography this experience offers a compelling and emotionally resonant experience beyond conventional animation formats.
