Skyline presents Chariot the story of Helios and his son Phaethon. The story follows the sun God Helios who grants his only mortal son one wish, which comes at a cost. Inspired by ancient Greek pottery we will be using 3D animation with a 2D style to portray the father’s emotions visually to tell a compelling story. In our second semester, we dive into the animation’s production and post-production phase where we will model, rig, animate and composite the animated short in 15 weeks. Once complete, the animation will be entered into film festivals around the country.
