Voxalburgh

Team Voxelburgh dives into Pittsburgh’s history with a location-based AR game designed for college students and cultural enthusiasts. This experience focuses on the city’s diverse linguistic landscape, using signs as gateways to explore its evolving culture. Players will interact with real-world locations like the Strip District, using their phones to uncover
stories and historical facts. The game highlights neighborhood dynamic changes and the enduring cultural imprints in public spaces.
Aimed at creating a one-hour immersive journey, our game connects players with the city’s hidden narratives and diverse heritage. It’s not just a game; it’s an exploration of Pittsburgh’s rich linguistic and cultural tapestry.
