VRcules is a discovery project at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC). We are creating prototypes to explore the possible links and relationships between cognitive and physical training. As a team we are working closely with physical fitness instructors to bring players an authentic training experience while also focusing on enhancing their cognitive capacities in the process. This project aims to test the limitations of virtual reality and whether it can be a viable option that can be beneficial for both cognitive and physical training.
