2023 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 28 2023.
Team Xtension is a pitch project team building a location-based experience centered around sensory augmentation devices that extend our human biological capabilities to control and manipulate the environment. The goal is to create an experience for the Fall Festival at the Entertainment Technology Center.
We are achieving this through creating custom and off-the-shelf wearable devices and sensors in the space to allow the guests to manipulate the setting and elements of the experience. Set in a future where humanity has become an interplanetary species, the guests are presented with wearable technology that extends their natural biological capabilities to be able to navigate through hostile environments. The guest will be given several tasks that can only be accomplished by quickly familiarizing themselves with the devices and using them to alter how they perceive the environment.
