Dailies 2-25-11

  • Researched scenario details
  • Talked with Sophie about sound effects for Michael’s test fire animation
  • With Michael, performed a connection test with Joe Sudol to prepare for the video conference planned for next week.  We should be able to connect through the machine in the library just fine using the Polycom software on that machine.

Dailies 02-25-11

Finished comping gun firing animation. Teammates like it so far, will see how it look like in game and with Sophie’s sound.

GDC next week, I am flying out to San Francisco tomorrow. Will have access to all resource with remote access to school, and can work at San Fran too.

I will return to Pittsburgh on Monday night  7th of March.

  • Made sound effects: open fuming machine door , close fuming machine door, machine noise, wrong answer sound.
  • Made sound effects for gun shooting animation.

Action items performed:

  • New functionality and interactions added to scene 1
  • Obtained and imported new assets from team members

  • Modeled hammer as part of the prints scene
  • Will be out for GDC the whole of next week

  • Process grades
  • Game design

Done compositing with x-ray, gun, scanning, and flame element in to one final comp.

Will ask around what everyone think.

Today:

  • Edited and re-submitted the menu “bars” the servers
  • Converted Multiple choice question elements such as gun details over to new format

Tomorrow:

  • Begin creating new function buttons and viewport slider.
  • Start work on new Fingerprint elements

  • Interface updated to include the new scene.
  • A lot of textures added.
  • New functionality added to include more re playability and reduce redundancy
