2024 Student Handbook
Student handbook for the ETC class that started August 26 2024
Four ETC students entered their 2D puzzler platformer game, Scrolling, in Microsoft’s Imagine Cup as part of the 2015 Blueprint Challenge: Games. Xunchi Sun, Feiran Wang, Mei Xue and Junwen Chen submitted a document outlining their idea and were recently announced as the Winners in the Game Category.
Scrolling uses a scroll-to-scale mechanism where players use a scroll wheel to scale the hero, Rith, to find energy cubes from a deserted plant, PH321. The hero has a supernatural power to scale himself, and an object, to complete his missions. On Rith’s journey, he gradually discovers why the planet is deserted, and a thought-provoking fact is to be revealed.
Congratulations to the team and good luck in the United States Imagine Cup!
