This semester, we will be working with the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board (PACLE) to develop a diversity training experience that lawyers all through the state of would be able to use. Across the state, there are over 63,000 lawyers. All these lawyers are required to do a mandatory 12 credits of continuing education each year, two of those credits must be ethics credits. Diversity training falls under the ethics training, and our project is to provide a one-hour experience that help facilitate discussion among lawyers on various kinds of diversity conversations.
After talking with our client, we have several ideas on what we might be able to do to facilitate this conversation. So this week and next, our team will be working on a prototype to see how one of our ideas flows. If it goes well and the client likes it, we would plan on expanding that out across the semester.
