Daily Update
So... I've clearly been forgetting to update dailies, but that's exactly because my mind has been focused on resolving other project problems (and creating some along the way). Now then, what have I been up to?
1. In working with the netting/web mechanics, I re-encountered some unknowns that posed problems with the rest of the design, namely having cooperative mechanics and single player mechanics, rather than strictly having mechanics that can be used for both.
2. In response to #1, I've come up with a new design that, unlike the former, I have found to be much more complete and tied together. I've completed a lot of the design, and have looked into relevant themes/metaphors.
3. I updated the project media archive, and only need to make a couple more adjustments.
4. I also contributed some concept art.

- Make the connection between the two characters
- Find an example to make the line more meaningful in visualization.

- Apply the visualization effect to the connection and finish the prototype's main mechanics

Today:
- played around with the idea of sea caverns in a concept mock up
- made some round creatures that don't really "work"
- used mock up to think about game play

- Meeting with Carl

- Finish the prototype of the dot, square and line and put the collaborate mechanics in.
