The week of QR codes! Part of what we needed to accomplish in this second half of our semester was decide how we were going to change our scanning to improve accuracy.
Hailey helped us land on using QR codes because not only would they improve accuracy it would be much simpler for teachers to add/remove badges when it comes to handing off our product.
Evelyn wasted no time to start the badge redesign, incorporating the codes.
Above are a few design options, as a team we decided to take the skill off of the badge, as it will pop up in the app. We also liked the image with the half circle, rather than just the gradient.
The badges will still appear circular in the app, so we thought this would be a better design choice! We also want to make the QR code smaller, much like the Heartman design above
